Heavy Equipment Interagency Safety Training
These photos are from the Yearly Heavy Equipment Interagency Safety Training hosted at Camp Pendleton. This training gets the Equipment operators back in the seat at the beginning of the season and putting the blade in the dirt. This is ran like an incident with Daily Briefings, Divisional breakouts and all the other things that come along with an incident. The operators are assigned to Divisions, Given radio channels to communicate on and they go to work. One day each week they get some familiarity running the equipment at night with the lights on. The operators are given challenges and they have to work through them based on their training.
